I think studying the holocaust was a sad topic to learn about. Even though all the assignments we do like slavery, WW1, the great depression, were sad but the holocaust was the sadest topic. I never really knew anything about the holocaust, so when I was getting taut in class about it, it just sounded unreal and unbelievable. I just didn’t understand why did they treat these people so poorly and looking back it, its a terrible thing but in their minds, they think its perfectly fine. I just feel so bad inside for all the people during that time because they didn’t know what and why they were doing this. They were forced unwillingly to work for hours with only minimal food. The book Night by Ellie Wiesel was great. I think Ellie Wiesel did a great job explaining and it definitely impacted a lot of people after reading that.: “But we no longer feared death, in any event, not this particular death.
